This isn’t a method I invented myself—it’s actually inspired by a super active English learning project I found on GitHub. What follows is my first attempt at following their process and documenting my journey.
After reading the project’s introduction, I really agree with the idea that “saying what you truly want to say is the key to language learning.” With AI tools, this step is now easier and more efficient than ever. Honestly, it’s amazing how powerful these tools have become.
Here’s how the project suggests you do it:
First, write down what you want to say in your native language—about 100 to 150 words—to get your thoughts out and organized. As you go, try to write more and go deeper.
Next, use AI to translate your words into English.
Then, have AI turn your English text into an audio file.
Listen and repeat, over and over, until you can say it all by heart.
You can also use GPT or similar tools to make your English sound more natural, and then generate the audio.
Finally, upload the audio to social media, and whenever you have time, listen to it again and again. Record your first and last attempts, and save them in a special folder so you can always go back and hear your progress.
I really believe that with the help of AI, everyone can find their own way to learn English. This is just my first step following the project, and I’ll keep sharing my progress as I go.
